To be completely frank, and i hope she'll forgive me for this, i hadn't heard of makeup artist Holly Silius until a few weeks ago when my friend Alex sent me an iphone snap of her amazing nails as she was going in to an event.
I seriously must have had my head in the sand because since then her name has been springing up on my little glittery radar at every turn. And i love her more everytime it does.
She's the queen of the fine detail, a perfect example being this gorgeous shoot below, i love the way the shape of the nail echoes the lip.
Speaking to Holly i find out that the nails she was papped wearing by my on the ball friend are part of a seriously amazing nail collaboration between herself and jewellery designer Hannah Warner called H and H Body Adornment. She's clearly really excited about it, and so she should be, she invites me to the event she's holding for the collaboration and tells me she's on her way to Paris as Thierry Mugler is exclusively using the range for his show there. They really do look amazing on the models.
